We are pleased that Blue Shield has made changes in their policies such that we are able to re-join their insurance network for PPO plans, effective July 15, 2016 (however, we remain out-of-network with Blue Shield EPO, POS and HMO plans).

Acupuncture is covered benefit in all individual and small group ( < 50 employees) health insurance plans offered in California with policy start dates of 01-01-2014 or later, per California law pursuant to the federal Affordable Care Act of 2009.

Acupuncture is also covered by many large group plans.
