A wealth of information is coming out of China regarding efforts to prevent and treat COVID19 with Chinese herbology, some of it based on prior experience with the SARS, H1N1 and other respiratory epidemics of the last 20 years. While we do not represent Chinese herbs as stand-alone prophylaxis or treatment of COVID19, it has a complementary role to play that is well-worth considering, given that Western medicine can currently offer only symptomatic relief and supportive care, and that hospitals are likely to be overwhelmed with demand.
