Targeted acupuncture with gentle electrical stimulation.
Electroacupuncture connects selected acupuncture needles to a controlled, low-level electrical current. It may be incorporated when appropriate after evaluation.
A carefully adjusted part of an individualized visit.
Your practitioner first completes an evaluation and places sterile, single-use acupuncture needles. Small clips may then connect selected needles to a device that delivers a gentle, adjustable pulse.
You remain awake and can communicate throughout treatment. Intensity is adjusted for comfort, and electroacupuncture is used only when it fits the treatment plan.

Evaluation comes first.
Electroacupuncture is one option within a broader treatment plan and is not automatically used for every patient or condition.
