Personally, I was delighted to see this research…Some of the most fun I’ve had in the classroom and in the world has been learning the language of my Swiss family, French, and also of many of my patients, Spanish…not to mention of my medicine, Chinese…learning other languages is such an insight into how humans from other cultures organize and understand their worlds, and enriches my enjoyment of life…how nice (but not surprising) to find out it’s good for our brains as well!
